Fix crawl errors

From my experience with Google Search Console, the crawl errors that often occur are not finding pages (404) and blocking pages (not accessible by Googlebot).
To correct the crawl errors that occur on your website, go to the Crawl >> Crawl Error list.
In the “Error URL” section, there are usually 3 tabs: desktop, smartphone, and interstitial. This tab shows crawl errors that occur when Googlebot accesses your site using these three types of devices.

At the bottom, there is a list of problematic URLs, click each url to see the details of the error.

If the page has a problem, correct it immediately based on the problem.
If the page is fixed, you can click the “Mark as recommended” button so that the error does not appear in Search Console. But this can not be guaranteed, because if Googlebot detects that this page is still causing problems, the error will still be displayed again.

Typically, when you migrate a Web site or make changes to the structure of the website associated with the static link, there will be a lot of URL errors in this crawl errors submenu. However, you make a redirect to make sure that there is no 404 page.
This is because Googlebot still keeps an old copy of your web page, or there are still other pages (either from the same website or from other websites) that link to a 404 page.
